Most apps say "encrypted in our cloud." IMSURED takes a simpler position: there is no cloud. Your photos, receipts, and item records sit locally on your device. We can't see them because we built the app to not see them.

Catalog with one tap.

Photograph the item. IMSURED's on-device vision tags the room, classifies the category, and prompts for the few details an insurer actually asks about — make, model, purchase year. Everything else is optional.

Receipts read themselves.

On-device OCR extracts the serial number, purchase date, price, and merchant from a printed receipt in seconds — without an internet connection. The original photo stays attached, in case an adjuster wants to see it.

If you want a copy of your inventory somewhere else — your own Google Drive, your own OneDrive, a USB stick, a partner's phone — that's your decision and your account. IMSURED writes the file. Where it goes after that, we don't watch.

Most privacy policies describe what an app collects. This one describes what it refuses to. We think that's the more useful list.

    No sign-up screen. No email. No password recovery flow. You install the app and you start cataloging.

    There is no IMSURED server that holds your inventory. We don't host a copy "for your safety" — your phone holds it.

The flow

Ten minutes a room.
One file when it matters.

Step 01

Walk the room.

Open the camera. Move around, tapping anything you'd be sad to replace. IMSURED auto-groups items by room and adds a thumbnail to the inventory.

Step 02

Add the paperwork.

Photograph receipts, warranty cards, or appraisals. OCR fills in the structured fields automatically. You confirm — or correct — and move on.

Step 03

Forget about it.

When the unthinkable happens, generate a single PDF and email it. When it doesn't, the file sits on your phone, encrypted, doing nothing — which is the goal.

Things people ask before installing.

What if I lose my phone?
Then you'll want a backup. IMSURED lets you export an encrypted archive to your own cloud account (Google Drive, OneDrive) or to a local file you keep wherever you keep important documents. We don't make a copy on your behalf — that's a deliberate trade-off in favor of you owning the only key.
How is this different from just taking photos of my stuff?
Insurers want structured information: item, brand, model, serial, value, purchase date, room, proof-of-purchase. A camera roll is one of those columns. IMSURED captures the rest and assembles it into the format an adjuster can act on.
Does the app really have no internet permission?
Correct — IMSURED does not request the android.permission.INTERNET permission. Android enforces this at the OS level, which means the app is incapable of opening a network connection. You can verify this on the Play listing's data-safety section.
Will there be an iOS version?
We're building Android first because it lets us deliver a truly internet-free app with stronger guarantees about background activity. iOS is on the roadmap — we'd rather ship it well than ship it soon.
How much will it cost?
A one-time purchase at launch, in the typical price range of a productivity app — not a subscription. We'll publish the exact figure on this page closer to release.
